Thirty-eight years in California and another 23 in Arizona have done little to blunt my affection for my birthplace, New York City, and the public transportation that gave me all the mobility as a preteen as any adult could have enjoyed. Well, OK, I really came into the world a few blocks outside the city line in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, NY. However, I lived my first year on 243rd Street in the Bronx and the next 12 in Jackson Heights, Queens. These account for my references to the 2, 5, and 7 trains above.

 

I have long wanted my own web page, and the awesome and economical power of Wix helped make it finally possible. I love now having a forum in which to say a little bit about myself, describe some of the professional services I can now offer since retiring, and acknowledge some of those who helped me along the way and still sustain me.
